Two More States Commit to Prayer and Religious Freedom
October 18, 2016

We are thrilled to announce the formation of two more State Legislative Prayer Caucuses, and want to extend a warm CPCF welcome to legislators from Kansas and Nebraska who have joined the American Prayer Caucus Network. After attending our 2016 LIFFT America Religious Liberty Summit in Williamsburg, VA, these committed leaders, along with hundreds of others across the country, have found a movement that has deeply inspired them. Not only have they dedicated themselves to prayer and action, but they also exemplify the frontline defenders so critical to protecting our faith and religious liberty.

State Representative Randy Powell, is leading the charge as the Kansas Legislative Prayer Caucus (KLPC) Chairman, and is encouraged by the strong showing of enthusiastic colleagues. Newly appointed Kansas State Director Donna Lippoldt, is assisting the members of the KLPC by mobilizing churches, faith-based organizations, citizens, and prayer networks, to support like-minded lawmakers. Learn more here.

In Nebraska, State Senator Bill Kintner, another courageous lawmaker who understands the very real threat to our First Amendment freedoms, is the Chairman of the Nebraska Legislative Prayer Caucus (NLPC). Members of the NLPC have already stepped forward with their recent participation in the “In God We Trust. Put It Up!” campaign.

Together, with over 700 federal and state lawmakers, Kansas and Nebraska legislators are standing up and fighting for our Judeo-Christian heritage. Please continue to pray for the leaders of our nation.
