Welcome Texas! The Lone Star State has joined the growing network of over 30 states that are making a bold and public declaration for prayer and faith.
Support for the newly launched Texas Legislative Prayer Caucus was enthusiastic and widespread. Speakers included Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, Attorney General Ken Paxton, Prayer Caucus Chairman Rep. Scott Sanford, Vice Chairman Rep. Matt Krause, Congressman Randy Forbes, Senator Eddie Lucio, Senator Charles Perry, with over 40 legislators demonstrating strong bipartisan backing from both sides of the aisle. They were joined by hundreds of praying citizens from across the state.
The feedback from all who participated was overwhelmingly positive. People walked away encouraged—their hope was renewed, supportive relationships were forged, and in a compelling show of commitment, everyone signed a Proclamation pledging their unceasing prayer and intentional engagement on issues related to faith and freedom in Texas.
We are proud to stand alongside these courageous government leaders who continue to be a powerful voice for our First Amendment rights.
We have a tremendous window of opportunity right now to fight for, protect, and defend religious liberty in America. Has your state responded yet? Learn more about the American Prayer Caucus Network and get involved. With so much at stake, let us seize the day!
