I have some good news, and some bad news.

Good news first. Thanks to Arkansas Legislative Prayer Caucus chairman, Senator Jason Rapert, the 2015 Arkansas Ten Commandments Display Act, a law that acknowledges and honors the historical moral foundation of law, made it possible to erect a new Ten Commandments Monument on the grounds of the Arkansas state capitol.

The bad news. Less than 24 hours after the Ten Commandments monument was erected, a man destroyed it with his vehicle. Ironically, this is the same man that was arrested in the destruction of Oklahoma’s monument at its state capitol just three years ago.

More good news. This isn’t the end of the story! Senator Rapert, and the citizens of Arkansas, are committed to seeing the Ten Commandments stand tall as a means to honor the historical moral foundation of law.
