Tomorrow is the 243rd anniversary of the day the Continental Congress finally approved the wording of the Declaration of Independence as a bold declaration that they believed our God-given freedoms were worth fighting for. This is a decision every generation has to make.

These revolutionary truths have been the driving force behind numerous essential freedom movements, including those committed to protecting the Freedom of Religion.
There is probably not a person reading this email who would easily yield the freedom to hold on to their most sacred, most personal, and most deeply held beliefs. This is why we must continue to stand for and advocate for our religious freedoms, and because true freedom can be found in religion, it becomes worth saving the freedom of religion… not merely the rights of conscience, but the rights of assembly, of expression, and speech.
We sincerely thank all of those, then and now, who have sacrificed so much so we can safely and freely enjoy ourselves on this historic day. So, as we celebrate with barbecues and fireworks, and sing the words of the War of 1812 inspired National Anthem, may we remember the cost of freedom and remain committed to protecting our liberties with the same level of passion and commitment.
